A French Girl In New York

This book. What Can I say? I loved this book with all my heart. It had me in tears then had me laughing. Praises to Anna Adams for writing a successful and amazing book. She does such a play on words and hints at abuse to Maude Laurent but doesn't go into to many gruesome details. A women after my own heart. Anywho I loved that even though Maude has been through so much in her short sixteen years that she doesn't let it stop her. She keeps on going and goes after her dreams of being a singer. She doesn't even let Mrs. Ruchet get in her way. The ruche family is horrible and that's why I love when she finds the Baldwin family. They treat her with so much respect and she finally feels loved and like she has a family of her own. ;) I'm not going to spoil the book but the dang ending puts the icing and details on the cake.




I know this is extremely short and all that but it's great to be back. I will try to have two posts up every month. It's not like it used to be, I'm in Highschool now and there's so much homework but I'm trying. (That right there ladies and gentleman is the longest run on and horrible sentence I've ever wrote)

Hey guys i'm so sorry I havent been updating lately! I actually am going to be participating in a tour.. Yeah I don't know if im going to like it but yeah. I'm trying my hardest to get on here and post reviews but with school its terrible.. Sigh I wish I was homeschooled xD. Just be looking for more posts in February

Crimson Frost. This book was fantabulous. Okay when I say that it brought my inner mythology nerd out. This book was like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson in one book. Gypsy Girl is such an amazing girl. She thinks aha almost every girl thinks. She doubts herself and just is normal even though she is Nike's champion.. 

I really wished that I would have known this was the second book in the series.. Sadly, I read this one first. I may have read this one first but i'm hunting for the first one.

Logan Quinn sounds like the perfect boyfriend. He loves his gypsy girl so much... He stood up to his dad and he ever does that. Linus Quinn didnt back down but Logan sure tried to persuade.. The problem was Logan's step mom.. Yes the Step mom is an evil viper. 

I give this book a 5/5.

HE said: Fred Oday is a girl? Puh-leeze. Why is a girl taking my best friend’s spot on the boys’ varsity golf team?

SHE said: Can I seriously do this? Can I join the boys’ team? Everyone will hate me—especially Ryan Berenger.

HE said: Coach expects me to partner with Fred on the green? That is crazy bad. Fred’s got to go—especially now that I can’t get her out of my head. So not happening.

SHE said: Ryan can be nice, when he’s not being a jerk. Like the time he carried my golf bag. But the girl from the rez and the spoiled rich boy from the suburbs? So not happening.

But there’s no denying that things are happening as the girl with the killer swing takes on the boy with the killer smile...

My Review: Can I say one word? Amazing. Fred Oday hated Ryan in the beginning.. But even from the beginning you could tell that she fell for him. The best thing in her life was making the golf team. She was set on the golf and she strived for it. She didn't care if she was put on an all boys team.. And she showed them all up. Seth may have hated her, but Fred ended up winning. Seth got ditched by Ryan because he was so jealous of Fred. I'm glad that she got this amazing chance and got to have an amazing High school experience.. I could go on forever, but i want this post to be short and sweet.
